Airedale Terrier Breed is good natured and fun-loving breed, making it an excellent choice for family dog. Can be stubborn occasionally but should be of no problem at all. A well balanced Airedale is adorable and a perfect companion because of its playfulness and boundless energy.

Breed Weight: about 45 lbs.

Breed Height: approximately 23 inches.

Coat: smooth, hard and wire-haired.

Characteristics and temperaments: Airedale Terrier breeds are loyal and patient to children and other animals. They are active, playful and intelligent. Airedales are excellent companion to children but nevertheless should always be supervised during play.

Care: Moderate grooming should be enough for this breed of dog. Dog shows require much more attention though. Monthly bathing and stripping of the coat every two months are enough to keep it in a good shape.

Training and activity: Airedales are quite active and require frequent walk and outdoor activity to keep them healthy and happy. They like to play fetch and swimming too.
