Coat: short and harsh.
Characteristics and temperaments: American bulldogs are alert and confident. They can get along with children and is known for its devotion to their master. This breed should be trained and socialized from early age to avoid the overly protective instinct.
Care: Bath when necessary and little comb and brush is usually enough because this breed doesn't shed much and easy to groom.
Training and activity: This dog is energetic and need moderate exercise regularly. Jogging and playing fetch keep it happy. Obedience training is needed and relatively easy.
