Australian Terrier Breed Information

The Australian Terrier breed is sturdy, rather long proportion and one of the smallest terrier. The dogs express intelligent and self-assured. Well-known to help in controlling rats and snakes, they are alert and can be a great companion.

Characteristics and temperaments: Australian terriers are tough with the courage of a much larger dog. They are good with children, playful, friendly and affectionate.
Care: The coat needs a little care despite its length. Plucking is required every three months. Nails should be clipped as necessary. Brushing and grooming with brush once a week when it dries.
Training and activity: Although this breed prefer an environment where it can play freely, it can adapt to living in places like apartment. Training should be done regularly. As a fast learner, the activity can be fun. Socialized breed since puppy or younger age makes it a pleasing dog.
