The Beagle breed is a small hound dog, but very active indoors. Because Beagles originally live in packs, they like to be around people and other animals. They are sweet and curious that loves everyone.

Breed Weight: 20 - 25 lbs.

Breed Height: 13 - 16 inches.

Coat: Beagles has dense and hard coat with medium length.

Characteristics and temperaments: Beagle dogs are sociable, intelligent and are excellent with children and other dogs. Socialized at early age allows them to be nice with other pets. They can be quite independent and require persistent to train. They don't like to be left alone and like to adventure.

Care: As an average shedder, Beagles are not hard to look after. The ears should be kept clean. Nails should be trimmed regularly.

Training and activity: Because this breed usually is very active and has high endurance and stamina, a fenced yard is a must to let she has her own activities. Add daily walk, a Beagle should be more than happy.
