The Belgian Sheepdog breed is elegant, strong, agile, well balanced and muscled dog. He is loyal and like to be busy with activities to keep happy. The dog can be nice with children, watchful and protective.

Breed Height: 22 - 26 inches.

Color(s): black, with acceptable patches or strip on forechest.

Coat: outercoat is long; undercoat should be dense.

Characteristics and temperaments: Belgian Sheepdog is intelligent and and observant. This breed never show fear or shyness. He is very possessive and require a lot of attention.

Care: Bathe and comb only when necessary. Brushing should be done with care.

Training and activity: This dog requires a lot of exercise to burn excessive energy and is best to live in country or suburban where he can have a lot of activities. Sufficient outdoor exercise is a must. Playing games, running and other activities keep this breed happy. Consistent obedience training is necessary.
