The Boston Terrier breed is intelligent and friendly. He is a native American breed, compact and well-muscled dog, sometimes referred as Boston Bull. A perfect companion dog, very affectionate with family members and friendly with strangers.

Coat: short and smooth.

Characteristics and temperaments: Boston Terrier can be willful sometimes, but usually nice with children. He can get along well with non-canine pets in the house. Boston Terriers are very popular and make a great family dog.

Care: The short hair requires only grooming and brushing when necessary. Pay attention to nails and clip regularly. Keep ears clean.

Training and activity: This dog is intelligent and learn fast. Training should be easy. No long walks are necessary, but it's best to have a yard so he can play freely to stay in shape.
