Boxer Breed Information

The Boxer breed has well-developed muscles, compact, and powerful. His eyes shows alertness, intelligence and emotions. Boxers are great as guard, companion and working dogs. Being playful and agile, this breed can get along with children well too.

Breed Weight: 50 - 80 lbs.
Breed Height: 21 - 25 inches.

Color(s): fawn and brindle; with or without white markings and black stripes. Fawn shades are from light tan to mahogany.
Coat: tight-fitting coat, short and smooth. White should not cover more than one-third of the coat.
Characteristics and temperaments: The Boxer is a friendly dog, which can get along with children and other household pets. He is also patience, alert, protective, high-spirit, playful, curious and full of energy. This breed needs a dominant owner to train him from an early age.
Care: The dog is very clean and like to groom himself like cats. Brushing only when necessary will keep the coat in good condition.
Training and activity: Because of his protectiveness and strength, a Boxer requires an obedience training since he is a puppy. The dog likes to jump and other energetic activities. If you can satisfy his active exercise requirement, this dog can be a great companion because of its learning capability.
