Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Breed Information

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed is a small and lovely spaniel that can get long very well with children. It can even play with them in a gentle way. The dog needs alots of companionship and should not be left alone all day.

Breed Height: 11 - 13 inches.

Color(s): tricolors, black and tan or red, ruby, and blenheim.

Coat: middle length, silky and sometimes wavy.

Characteristics and temperaments: energetic, lovable, fearless and intelligent. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel loves to please and should get along with not only children but also other household non-canine pets and dogs.

Care: Bath or dry shampoo when necessary. The middle-length coat needs moderate grooming to keep in good shape.

Training and activity: Although relatively small in size, this dog requires some exercise too keep him happy. Basically he can adapt to family's activities. Training should be fun because the little dog want to please and is intelligent enough to understand what the owner want.
