The Cocker Spaniel breed loves to play and adapt easily to city or country environement. He has a compact body, the smallest in the sporting group. This dog has the inclination to work, with the balance between speed and endurance.

Color(s): black variety: solid black or with tan, anything other than black (ASCOB) variety: red, brown, cream, with tan points, and particolor variety: any color with white.

Coat: short, fine and silky, straight to slightly wavy.

Characteristics and temperaments: The Cocker Spaniel adapts to various environment easily. He gets a long well with other dogs, children and other household pets. The dog has the willing to please his owner.

Care: Professional grooming is necessary at least two times a year. The ears should be kept clean. Brush and comb regularly to keep him in a good shape.

Training and activity: Training should not be difficult because he has the inclination to learn. It should be fun too. The key is to be consistent but gentle. Cockers like to walk, run and swim.
