Dalmatian Breed Information

The Dalmatian breed is medium-sized and muscular dog with superior loyalty. The dogs love human companionship, get along well with other pets but may be quite aggressive to other dogs. Although he can be polite to strangers, he also makes a good watchdog.

Characteristics and temperaments: The Dalmatians are stable, well-behaved, playful, sensitive and loyal. They enjoy playing with children although not recommended for very young children. The dogs should be properly raised to prevent aggressiveness.

Care: During shedding twice a year, pay special attention to him. Remove loose hairs with a rubber glove if necessary.

Training and activity: They are energetic and should have plenty of exercise, although they also can adapt to the activity level of the family. The dog likes to run in the country. Training should be consistent because they can be willful sometimes.
