English Toy Spaniel Breed Information

The English Toy Spaniel breed is small, sturdy and square spaniel. The charming nature and soft coat makes him lovable. He gets along quite well with children, but probably should not be allowed with very young age children. Some of them are picky eaters.

Color(s): white ground with red or chesnut markings.

Coat: Straight or slightly wavy, silky and soft.

Characteristics and temperaments: The English Toy Spaniel can be sometimes willful, but other than that, he is naturally well-behaved intelligent and like to be around people. He can be socialized well and even strangers can approach him provided that it is done affectionately.

Care: Regularly brushing is all you need. Trimming is not necessary.

Training and activity: This dog is inactive indoors. As a companion dog, he doesn't require much exercise. When it comes to training, treat him gently. Being well-behaved and intelligent but also a bit willful, consistency is the key.
