French Bulldog Breed Information

The French Bulldog breed is mild-tempered, active, intelligent and muscular dog. He has erect ears and a pug nose. A playful and affectionate dog, he also gets along well with strangers and other animals but bonds to one person.

Color(s): brindle, white, fawn; brindle and white.

Coat: fine, short, smooth.

Characteristics and temperaments: The French Bulldog is well-behaved, affectionate and active. He makes a great companion dog and plays well with other dogs. The dog is clean natured and enthusiastic but can be willful at times.

Care: The short coat needs very little grooming. Regular brushing is enough. Apply lotion to facial folds to keep them clean.

Training and activity: This breed learns quickly but can be stubborn at times. The best to handle him is by being patience and consistence in training. He doesn't like hot weather but can run and play for hours. You can have him in your apartment but can be fairly active indoors.
