Manchester Terrier Breed Information

The Manchester Terrier breed is a sturdy, small but muscular, strong, agile and elegant dog. There are two varieties of the breed: toy and standard. They are high-spirited, very intelligent and eager to learn. Socialization as a puppy prevents him from aggression.

Characteristics and temperaments: The Manchester Terrier breed is compact, agile, intelligent, sporty, alert and lively dog. They get along with children but may try to dominate other dogs. If your house has a cat, properly socialized the dog with it to prevent aggression. This breed is protective and makes a good watchdog.
Care: The short coat is easy to care for. Keep th ears clean and claws short. Remove dead hairs with a rubber brush.
Training and activity: This breed is intelligent and able to learn quickly. They also do well in obedience training. When it comes to activities, this dog demands plenty of exercise. They love regular long walks, running and playing off the leash. Only let this breed off without a leash on a secure area. These dogs can run very fast.
