The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever breed is a playful, medium-sized, powerful, well-balanced and agile retriever. They are the smallest in the retriever group. The Toller is intelligent, outgoing, alert, affectionate and loving with family members. They make good companions with children too.

They are not only devoted to their family but also have a natural excitement about their duty. This breed is very patient with children, also gets along well with other dogs and household pets. They are a bit reserved around strangers though.
Care: The coat requires regular combing and brushing. Bathe only when necessary.
