The Polish Lowland Sheepdog breed is a medium-sized, strong, muscular and intelligent dog. Having desire to please, they have good herding and working ability. This breed also have a relatively short legs, with the ratio of height to length is 9:10.

Breed Weight: 50 - 75 lbs.

Breed Height: 17 - 20 inches.

Polish Lowland Sheepdog Breed

Color(s): all colors including white with black, grey with black, or chocolate.

Coat: double-coated; undercoat is soft and dense while outercoat is longer, thicker, shaggy and dense.

Characteristics and temperaments: The Polish Lowland Sheepdog breed is stable, intelligent, and self-confident. They can be independent at times but also make a good companion other than the original herding and working capability. These dogs are fearless, but extremely loyal but somewhat aloof and reserve of strangers.

Care: The coat needs good amount of grooming to keep in good shape.

Training and activity: This breed is independence and dominance. They try to dominate the pack, so if you are considering to adopt one of the puppies, make sure that you are a dominant master. Consistent training is the right approach to get the most result. These dogs require ample of exercise although they can adapt somewhat well to the activity level of their family.
