Color(s): all colors and patterns.

Coat: long, straight and thick.

Characteristics and temperaments: The Pomeranian gets along well with other dogs and household pets, but not with very young children. This is an important point to consider when adopting a puppy. This dog may become too demanding if proper socialization didn't take place. Poms have the tendency to bark at strangers.

Care: The long coat should be brushed regularly. Check the eyes and ears for cleanliness.

Training and activity: This breed has the ability to satisfy their own exercise requirement if you provided enough space for them. They are also great companion for long walks. The Poms are one of the most independent of the Toy breeds. They are good at learning tricks but should need a firm and consistent trainer.
