Poodle Breed

Color(s): any solid color.

Coat: fine, wooly, and dense. Corded coat is rare.

Characteristics and temperaments: The Toy Poodle is sensitive and highly responsive. Some bloodlines may be timid. They may snap if surprised and teased, so they are not probably suitable with children. These dogs get along very well with older children, other dogs and household pets.

Care: The Poodle must be bathed regularly. Coat should be clipped every six weeks. Keep ears clean to avoid infection.

Training and activity: This breed like to walk. They can live in apartment and country because of their highly adaptability. Doing okay without a yard, Standard Poodle is not demanding when it comes to exercise, but will be quite active indoors. Proper socialization is required as a puppy to avoid some traits such as excessive barking.
