Pug Breed Information

The Pug breed is a square, cobby, lean, compact and sleek dog. They are perky, affectionate, loving and playful. They are appropriate for apartment life and relatively inactive indoors. This breed need stable temperature so they must be kept indoor for living. They also get along well with both children and visitors.

Characteristics and temperaments: The Pug breed is charming little dog. They are highly intelligent and sensitive to the tone of the trainer. These dogs are also very devoted and make good watchdogs. The Pug requires a lot of attention from family members, otherwise may become jealous. Don't overfeed the dog, as they will become obese and living much shorter.
Care: Loose or dead hairs should be removed regularly with rubber brush. Apply lotion to facial creases as necessary.
Training and activity: These dogs are sensitive to the voice of their trainer so no harsh words or punishments required. You have to give different training to avoid boredom. This breed loves to romp and play outdoors in nice weather. The dog also gets along well with other dogs and pets.
