Tibetan Spaniel Breed Information

The Tibetan Spaniel breed is an active, alert, well-balanced, slightly longer and small dog. They are happy, very smart and trusting. Don't confuse with its size, this breed is not a lap dog. Although not yappy, this dog will bark at intruders, making it a good watchdog. This breed is good for apartment life.

Characteristics and temperaments: The Tibetan Spaniel breed is a fine family companion and a good watchdog. They can be willful at times. Although cautious with strangers, this dog does not jump all over them. As a confiden, watchful and intelligent dog, this dog should be a pleasing companion, although can be quite difficult to train.
Care: Regular brushing is required to keep the coat in top condition. Keep ears clean.
Training and activity: This breed learns quickly but can be slightly stubborn. Consistency is the key to successfully train this dog. Moderate exercise is all this dog needs. A nice long walk or a rump in the yard should make the dog happy and healthy.
