The Toy Fox Terrier breed is a combination of both toy and terrier. They are intelligent, courageous, devoted and tough. This breed is also known as the American Toy Terrier or Ameritoy. These dogs are good for apartment life and very active indoors.

Overall, they make a pleasant companion. Having the terrier instincts, they will fight mice and small animals. They only bark when necessary.

Care: The coat is easy to groom. Brush and comb occasionally.

Training and activity: These dogs are very active both indoors and outdoors. They will take care of their own exercise needs though. When it comes to training, this breed is very trainable and exceptionally intelligent. They can be trained to help handicapped people around the home.
