The Welsh Springer Spaniel breed is a medium-sized, compact, and attractive dog. They are willful and less outgoing than the English Springer. This breed is appropriate for apartment life provided that you give it sufficient amount of exercise. All Welshies have beautiful coats in read and white.

Socialization is required to avoid timidity. They are also steady and easygoing. This breed can get along well with children and other household pets provided it has known them since puppyhood.

Care: The coat is fairly easy to maintain. Regular brushing is required, especially during shedding.

Training and activity: These energetic dogs need plenty of regular exercise. They are lively and like the opportunity to have some activities off leash.
